How To Raise Your Vibration and Get Yourself Out Of A Funk

As a highly sensitive person and empath, my emotions can get overwhelming fast. And often, the change in moods can creep up on me.

You ever have those feels?

Over the past six or so months, I’ve mostly stayed in a place of peaceful and positive vibes. Really, I’ve been in a great place emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Everything has been absolutely fantastic.

But then recently I’ve found myself in a funk.

Total downward spiral, actually.

I didn’t want to do anything. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. And everything just felt like too much. I’ve spent weeks just sitting around my house and binge watching Netflix.

But, since I’ve spent a lifetime battling extreme highs and lows when it comes to my emotional state, I’ve learned quite a few tricks to get myself out of a funk.

So here are some of my favorite ways to raise my vibration (or rather, raise my frequency), get

The Benefits of Having a Do Nothing Day

I love vacations.

But doesn't everyone?

They're kinda the best thing ever. And usually the very first day I'm back at work after a vacation, I'm already daydreaming and waiting for the next one.

And that's because, if I don't plan a vacation for myself, I usually end up running myself ragged with work and chores. Every weekend or random day off gets filled up with chores and errands and being an adult.

Creating an Evening Routine You Love

If you've been hanging around for any length of time, you probably already know that I am a huge fan of having a morning routine.

I've mentioned it in many posts as being so incredibly important and I even dedicated a whole post to creating a morning you love.

Now, even though I am super vocal about creating a morning routine and taking time for self-care in the mornings, I realize that one of the best things you can do for yourself and for your mornings is have an evening routine as well.

Little ways to reduce stress in your life

Stress is unavoidable. That's a sad truth of life. And even though we know that some stress can be good for us, too much stress is bad. I'm prone to getting stressed out easily. I used to just hope that eventually the stress would go away on it's own, that everything would magically get better. But that doesn't happen. If we want less stress in our lives, we need to take action. Fortunately, there are lots of simple things we can do differently each day to lower our stress levels.

Simple Ways to Unwind

I used to be terrible at relaxing.

(TBH, I still am)

Like, the literal worst.

I would have weeks at a time with non-stop deadlines, extra work projects, and constant nagging from my cats (who seem to think that a half empty dish means they're starving).

And still, after long, frustrating days, I would have absolutely zero motivation to take any time for myself.

There was always more to do.

Creating Your Miracle Morning

Attitude is important. But so is setting up your morning to be relaxing and energizing. Which will help you get in a positive mindset right from the start.

I call this a Miracle Morning, because it sets you up for having a great day. When I have a good morning, I also have a good rest of the day.

Your miracle morning can just be a list of positive habits you'd like to instill. Do as many or as few as you need, or whatever you have time for.
